As we close out the first quarter of 2026, it’s clear that the year has kicked off with strong momentum across the Peake Projects portfolio.
We’ve seen continued confidence in the market, steady buyer demand, and significant progress across several of our key developments in Officer. It’s an encouraging start, and one that sets the tone for what’s shaping up to be an exciting year ahead.

Project Updates

Across our current estates, we’re seeing real movement on the ground:

Bayview Estate, Officer

Construction is nearing completion, with titles anticipated in Q2. This project is tracking well and continues to attract strong interest from buyers preparing for settlement.

OAS Estate, Brunt Road, Officer

Similarly, OAS Estate is progressing toward completion, with titles also expected in Q2. It’s great to see this community taking shape as we move closer to delivery.

Golden Win Estate, Officer

Golden Win has now entered the tendering phase, marking an important step forward. At this stage, we are forecasting titles toward late 2026.

Buyer Activity & Market Trends

Land sales have remained consistent throughout the quarter, with a clear trend emerging, the majority of purchasers are first home buyers.
This is being driven largely by government support initiatives, particularly the 5% Deposit Scheme and the newly introduced Help to Buy Scheme, which has already generated strong interest since launching.

Spotlight: The 2% Help to Buy Scheme

One of the biggest talking points this quarter has been the introduction of the Australian Government’s Help to Buy Scheme.
This initiative is designed to help more Australians enter the property market sooner, requiring as little as a 2% deposit. Under the scheme, the government contributes up to 30% for existing homes or 40% for new homes, effectively bridging the gap for buyers who may be close, but not quite able, to purchase.
With 10,000 places available each year, we’re already seeing a significant number of buyers exploring this pathway, particularly in growth areas like Officer.
For many, this is a genuine game-changer, allowing them to move from renting into home ownership much sooner than expected.
