OFFERS CLOSING TUESDAY 18TH FEBRUARY AT 4PM
Set in the heart of Guys Hill, 402 Beaconsfield-Emerald Road is a home that redefines sustainable living with an inspired blend of whimsy, practicality and architectural brilliance.
Designed by Bohdan Kuyzk, a protégé of Alistair Knox who is a famous mudbrick designer. This exceptional and unique home is firmly rooted in its natural surroundings, featuring Ironbark Pole construction sourced from the Queensland timber yards. Reclaimed timbers and materials add character and a unique edge to the home.
This thoughtfully designed home took years of planning, discussion and innovation. The result is a masterpiece of passive design that leverages energy efficiency and sustainability. Materials such as polished concrete floors and the central Rammed Earth wall for thermal mass acts as a “heat bank” to accept or dissipate heat through the seasons, resulting in a moderate indoor temperature of 22dc regardless of external temperatures.
Every detail has been carefully curated. An extensive solar system and battery storage reduces energy costs, raked ceilings, exposed timbers and floor-to-ceiling double glazed windows encourages airflow and encompasses the enchanting gardens and uninterrupted rural views across the green rolling hills.
A second dwelling, “The Studio”, although modest, is cosy, charming and provides a world of opportunity. An ideal overflow for visiting guests, working from home space or a teenager’s retreat
The gardens provide a peaceful end to a busy day, collecting your daily crop from the array of fruit trees, vegetable boxes and cooking up a storm in your pizza oven – Bellissimo!!
This home is more than a residence – it’s an experience. A sanctuary of peace, beauty, and ingenuity, it must be seen to be appreciated. Let this extraordinary home inspire and captivate you.
